11-10 7th AMS Crawford Science

Mr Crawford's science class is going to be on watersampling! The classes were a lab & of course I lectured. the classes did sampling of their virtual watersheds - for Nitrates, Salinity, & Tempature. The samples did not yeild any dramadic results - it would have been better to have real samples from different watersheds or streams. but, Mr Crawford's son is quite sick & it is understandable to not be able to do everything. Enjoyed class & hope to be back in mr crawford's class since I have an in with Mr. Norstand 8gr science & Math teachers see my value - could be a nice connection to AMS.

11-9 Mrs Wolf Math

Mrs Wolf's classes are very well run - you can tell how a teacher runs her class by how the students act when a sub is there. Gave test all day - students have not really got it with some of the consepts. had seating chart & good plans.

Mrs Graves is out with her new baby. Her Math class was taught by Mr W.
The science classes - i just had to wing it, in that no real plans!

11-3 Allens Elem PE Ms henneman

Mad day of indoor Soccer! With this big very bouncy ball & about 15 kids who have little idea of what is going on other than they are trying to kick or head butt this very bouncey ball into a soccer net. Was like a street brawl. Blew the whistel alot!
Also had Kate (TA!) giving lecture on chewing tobacco. she will be back.

hard class!! not because of students or Ms Crall's plans, but because of the program. Can not say that program works or does not work - but will say that the quick progression from one area to the next is one of main objections to education system as it stands now.

11-1 TMS Mr Guffey Sp Ed

This was the day that I missed going to VJH because of calendar mix-up. Mr Guffey has some interesting SpEd. children - most seem interested - to some extent in learning. Attention span is very much a part of this group of children.

10-31 VJH Bragg SpEd

Ms Bragg has a pretty good scheduleb- morning math with another teacher providing the matterial - Pm inclussion. helping these students get through the day without feeling left behind is a big help in their lives. She does have a student or two that are - if channeled properly - could be quite productive individuals.

10-30 Allens Elem PE ms henneman

Interesting for a teacher to be out all week & not leave more of what needs to be done. Don't get me wrong - i like being able to do what I want in these classes - but some ideas are always helpful. Did the 5 base kickball - of course I get to pitch for both sides!

10-27 Plains Elem Slattery 3rd

Well subing with a student teacher is interesting - they are wanting nothing more than to "be incharge". But there is this presence - namely me the sub also in the room. I try to give the student teacher the experence of being in charge - yet at times i can not resist the temptation to do something like "Teach"!

Mr. Nostrant stopped me in grocery store to ask if I would sub. Yet Bill Nye the science guy really sub'ed.

TMS art classes are quite interesting.
